The administration portal provides all the tools needed to create and mangage user accounts and the vehicle fleet including configuration of the cameras for each vehicle.

One of the key elements of the EVSS system is the concept of groups. Users are added to groups and vehicles are added to groups as well. All the groups are defined and created as a business decision in the system. Groups are then assigned to each other providing controlled access. This helps manage authorization of access for large fleets by dividing monitoring duties among the users based on their group membership.

Creating and managing your vehicle fleet is a simple task using the vehicle administration page. Add the vehicle ID based on the ID scheme defined by your business model and add other information such as EVSS MAC address which assigns the unit to the vehicle. Save the vehicle profile and add cameras to the vehicle. Using script just about any camera can be used in the vehicle. EVSS supports POE (Power Over Ethernet) cameras so there is no need for additional power sources in the vehicle.

The EVSS administration web site also makes searching and reviewing video from selected vehicles as easy as selecting the vehicle from a list and entering the time of day. Submit the video request and within moments the video is ready for review. Click the Review Video tab and select and view the video using the computers media player.
