| Enhanced Mobile Client - EMC® |
|
EMC® is a software solution providing essential functionality to vehicles deployed in the field. There is an
emphasis on law enforcement with the current release of the system in that it also provides the ability to add
and edit case data in vehicle and integrates with the EMC® Partner software which provides case review, video review
and other case management capabilities. Monitoring, viewing and responding to vehicles is done via the EMC® Operator product module. Hardware solutions are available from HD Protech partners, but the customer is free to provide their own hardware or laptop solution as long as it meets certain minimum requirements. The EMC® software, once installed, provides some of the following features: |
| Digital IO |
With the integrated digital IO linked to vehicle hardware, EMC® can be configured to automate recording of events,
sending of alerts or triggering other output IO events when a designated IO channel is activated. Typical usage of this
feature would be when a light-bar is turned on, a weapon is deployed from the gun rack or tied to doors being opened. Virtually
any type of activity or event on the vehicle can have an IO channel dedicated to it and assigned an optional alert status.
When an alert status is triggered the EMC® Operations module will alert the personnel monitoring the system, providing
an audio alert and instant live video and map position of the vehicle ensuring personnel safety and situational awareness.
|
| EMC® Operator |
The EMC® package uses the EMC® Operator monitoring product module to view, monitor and respond to
vehicles in the field. Active vehicles are instantly visible in the vehicle tree and their positions are updated
in real-time on the map pallette. Live video from any vehicle can be viewed by selecting a vehicle camera. Personnel
can send any vehicle in the fleet text messages alerting the vehicle operator to changes are requests.
This module provides a safety tool to know where and how your vehicles are deployed and can help provide a tactical advantage in emergency situations. |
